Press Release: TDMall (Sydney) Clinic Hosts a Meaningful Parent-Child Event for Chinese Australian Community.

The first session of the “Little TCM Doctor” event was successfully held today (July 12, 2024) at TDMall (Syndey) Clinic in Australia. There were two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, with a total of twelve children participating.

The main goal of this event was to cultivate interest and appreciation for Chinese culture and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) among Chinese Australian children born in Australia. At the same time, it provided an opportunity to strengthen the bond between parents, grandparents, and their children.

Building on the experience of the group’s established event model, the Australian team adapted the activity to suit local participants, mainly children under seven years old. They incorporated colouring activities using Little TCM Doctor TradeMark (IP), ensuring that the event remained structured while allowing the children to participate more actively. This creative approach was highly appreciated by both parents and children, effectively promoting our brand image and event IP in a fun and engaging way.

While the children were busy with their colouring activity, Dr. Tou (TCM) introduced parents to the TDMall Group, the TCM services available at TDMall (Sydney) Clinic, and various TCM health products. Parents also received valuable health advice, including the treatment and prevention of common childhood illnesses, Chinese herbal remedies for children, and a live demonstration of massage techniques for children.

One of the most exciting parts of the event was when each child, with the guidance of their parents, personally crafted their own herbal sachet using five aromatic Chinese medicinal herbs provided by TDMall. This hands-on experience significantly deepened the children’s understanding of TCM and herbal medicine, while also enhancing family bonding.

At the end of the event, each child received an Appreciation Certificate, and the two children with the best colouring artwork were rewarded with mystery gifts. The event concluded successfully.
